The 4th European Harp Symposium

500 partecipants from 19 countries
60 harp concerts (classic, jazz, pop, folk, New Age, chamber music and Harp and Orchestra) recitals of the most famous harpists in Europe (Elizabeth Fontan-Binoche, Jana Bouskova, Gwineth Wentink and others), performances of 8 first International prizes . Opening concert at the Teatro Morlacchi: Elena Zaniboni introduced the new Concerto for Harp and Orchestra by Marco Betta with the Perugia Symphonic Orchestra conducted by Giuliano Silveri.

Concerts, workshops and conferences from morning till night, Suzuki presentation of 15 harps with the youngest harpist age 5, an orchestra composed by 16 harps under the guidance of P. Tassini.

Mrs. Ann Stockton, Chairman Emeritus of the World Harp Congress arrived purposely from the U.S. to attend the Symposium. She warmly congratulated Elena Zaniboni, Artistic Director of the Symposium.
